The Current Issues & Advocacy (CI&A) Interest Group provided extensive feedback to the U.S. Department of Education on January 28 on proposed changed to Title IX’s protections and processes for sexual harassment.  The key area of concern for the group are:

• Standards of Proof
• Notification Process for a Sexual Harassment Complaint
• Coverage of School versus Non-School Programs and Activities
• Cross Examination of Accuser and Accused
